The characteristic design, the Tracker concept with two separate blades, the shock-resistant 1095 carbon steel and the remarkable price-performance ratio quickly made the Boker Plus Mini Tracker by Dave Wenger a top seller in the bushcraft and outdoor scene. While the front part of the Tracker's larger variants is primarily suitable for chopping and splitting, the blade shape of the smaller dimension of the new Boker Plus Micro Tracker shows completely different advantages and qualities. The Micro Tracker shares the advantages of the two grinding angles on one blade with its big brothers. In addition, the front half of the blade in the smaller format is excellent for working on a cutting board and the strong tip is excellent for opening boxes in everyday use. The small nose, which separates the two grinds, pulls powerfully into the cut in soft materials and is predestined for clipping cords, lines and belts. The field and 3D archer appreciates the compact dimensions, the powerful tip and the archaic appearance when working out mis-shot arrows. The Boker Plus Micro Trapper has the same indestructible materials and finish of the Mini Tracker. The three carefully recessed and chamfered hollow brass studs in the handle add a visual highlight. Supplied with a belt adapter and a custom-fit Kydex sheath.

  1. Heavy duty edc kick around knife 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Dec 2023

Got it a few days ago and it sharpened up quickly with 600 grit paper and a fine diamond stick. Knife is a heavy duty edc on steroids and should be plenty rugged for day hiking and adventures in the hills. It is not a “hunting knife” and is not intended to be, bu it certainly could dress and skin a deer in the field or small game. It is meant to excel for bushcraft needs like fire sticks, digging my arrows out of stumps or the dirt when running the woods and stump shooting, as well as all those camp chores like digging a quick trench to drain the water off the tent. It is a mini pry bar and would work to baton or do wood crafting to some extent. The kydex style sheath took some getting use to. I’m a leather guy, but quickly
put some paracord on it to hang as a neck knife or hang from the pack, but it will likely be put in the small haversack, with a good 4-inch stockmans knife in my pocket. It should be rugged as heck for a good and handy bushcraft knife.
