Great product and great service. Ben is pleasant to do business with.

  2. Good, sturdy, functional little pan. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jun 2015

I haven't used this little pan very much yet but it seems a good sturdy cooking item. It's large enough to allow the large Mors Kochansky bush pot to sit inside it and make a nice compact cook kit for one or two people. I seasoned it with a little oil and just baked some bannock in it for breakfast this morning and it worked fine. I haven't fried in it yet but I'm pretty sure that as long as the heat isn't allowed to get too hot the pan will work fine.

  3. Skillet 4 Star Review

I like this product. I have the 9 in. for boat camping and wanted the 6 5/8 for backpacking. This is not a flimsy, cheaply made pan, but a product that will last for years if taken care of. Might actually deserve a 5 star rating but I'm hard on equipment and nothing is perfect, so I'll hold at a 4 star rating.

  4. The Man Pan 5 Star Review

This is not a flimsy fry pan wanna-be, it has just enough thickness to it to make it a fry pan. This size is perfect for my Mors pot to sit in, and then to put both in my cook bag. Take the time to season your pan before you take to the trail. I used coconut oil, thinly coat, heat till it starts to smoke, remove from heat, coat it again and reheat till it starts to smoke... I did mine about 12 times. Tell the wife what your doing or she will think the house is on fire! I use my pan for frying, baking bannock, a dinner plate, eating breakfast cereal and a mixing bowl. Next time out I'm gonna try baking cookies in it! Excellent product, Thanks Ben!
