These are carbon steel baking dishes that work perfectly with a pot gripper ( sold separately ) to make a truly lightweight skillet that can be seasoned and become non stick like cast iron.
This is a good medium size skillet.
Also used for baking in a reflector oven.

Exactly what I needed!
I have been looking for a good hiking/ camping pan, but I haven't been able to find what I needed. I knew of bensbackwoods.com, but only after I was browsing it one day that I remembered they carried this pan. And as the name implies, as well as their YouTube videos, I trusted that they carried proper equipment. I have used the pan twice at the time of this review, but that's enough to notice that it is very good at producing those mountain meals everyone knows taste better in the woods than anywhere else. The 9" is a perfect size for me, but if you're trying to save weight or space then try the 6", I'm sure it's only going to improve your capabilities in the woods.
