    Product Description

    The Woodcarving Knife 106 (LC) is a classic whittling knife with an 85 mm laminated carbon steel blade. Its long, narrow, and pointed shape makes it suitable for most types of carving – a favorite among both new and experienced woodworkers. The barrel-shaped handle in oiled birch fits comfortably in the hand and provides good control with every cut.

     

    The 2.7 mm thick, 85 mm long blade is made of French laminated carbon steel (100CR6). A hard carbon core is laminated between softer outer layers, providing excellent edge retention and toughness. The blade reaches a hardness of 58.5 HRC and has a polished surface for rust protection. Always wipe and oil the blade after use.

      Great knife. Takes a wicked edge. I'm using it to carve spoons--green or dried wood, it does the job!

      It came very sharp and cuts really well feels decent in the hand the tip is very sharp sticks right into the thumb like Butter great knife recommend it

      This is a very good carving knife. It is highly recommended for those starting to get into carving but if you do a look around at videos etc.. you will see this knife time and again in the hands of carving and green woodworking enthusiasts. As with any sharp tool you would do well to show this thing some respect because it is extremely sharp. You really can't go wrong with this as your go to carver. Highly recommended.

      Great knife for carving. Comes razor sharp. I prefer the longer blade yet thin enough for fine detail.
