Took the pot camping with me this weekend and cooked some meals over an open campfire. Very easy to use ad everything cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this product.

The Zebra 12cm Billy pot is perfect for my kit. Quality construction and materials... Durable, rugged and priced right. Perfect size for one person. Stores nicely in my pack. Thanks Ben for the quick shipping, and offering such awesome gear.

The zebra pot 12 CM is well constructed and should last me a lifetime. I also have the 16 CM which is just too large for one person to use

Not having used a "Billie" before the grey matter has had to do some rethink on cooking with such a a tall pot. Coffee was excellent. Clean up is fast and easy. It is a solid piece and flexible enough to fit into the fire anyplace you need for temperature control-just make sure the plastic tabs are removed first. I saw this pattern used in the Far East as lunch pails. Putting them near a fire to re-heat the rice, beans, etc inside. The extra "plate" was used to hold bread, biscuits, bean curd etc. or maybe a small piece of meat. This is far more substantial in materials and manufacture than the ones I witnessed in country. Solid piece of gear.

Solid, stows nicely in your truckerbag, heats and cleans up like a breeze. Any swagman, drifter, rover or hiker should be content with this set up as he waltzes through the outback.

I bought one of these about a year and a half ago and have been really pleased with it. The build quality is great and should hold up for my lifetime. I have always used more of a flatter wider pot like the old MSR Alpine and was not sure how the taller Zebra would work. After using the Zebra for over a year I much prefer its taller shape for campfire cooking either on a pole hanging over the fire or sitting nestled in the fire.

When I'm backpacking I usually use my titanium or anodized aluminum cook sets. They are excellent for on the fly lightweight cooking gear. I use them with my alcohol stoves.
However if I am doing bushcraft and cooking over a fire I reach for this pot. This is one heavy duty pot. It performs excellently over a fire without warpage and cleans up easily from soot deposits left by the fire. It is also nice for nesting gear inside. I keep a 220gm propane canister and my GigaPower stove as a back up.
I have both the 12 and 14cm pots depending on how many people will be with me on a give occasion.
I highly recommend this pot if you are serious about outdoor cooking.
